Their funeral ceremony’s are the most important faze of life and are celebrated very extensively. The chance that we will encounter one of these funeral ceremony’s is very big. Here hundreds sometimes thousands of people are present, all bringing gifts of buffalo, rice wine and pigs. When trekking through this area we are confronted with this strong animistic culture everywhere. Rock graves and wooden dolls representing the death, called ‘Tau Tau’are standing garde over the ancestors. During these three days all excursions, transport and meals are included.
